• Your preferred apartment and number of guests

If your inquiry becomes a reservation, we may later request additional information reasonably necessary to organize the stay, verify the booking, meet legal requirements, process payment, or provide requested guest services.

The website’s availability form does not currently collect payment-card or passport information. Please do not include sensitive identification, financial, medical, or other confidential information in the notes field.

Information Collected Automatically

Submitting an inquiry does not create or confirm a reservation. A stay is only reserved after availability, pricing, and booking terms have been confirmed separately.

We will not add you to a marketing mailing list merely because you submitted an availability inquiry. Promotional emails will only be sent if we introduce such communications and obtain any consent required by applicable law.

4. Our Reasons for Processing Information

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we process personal information because you have asked us to take steps before entering into a booking agreement; processing is necessary to administer or perform a confirmed booking; we have a legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, operating the apartments, protecting the website, and maintaining appropriate business records; you have given consent where required; or processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or address a legal claim.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before consent was withdrawn.

We may contact you using the details you provide, including by email, telephone call, SMS, text message, or WhatsApp. We use these channels primarily to respond to your inquiry, discuss availability, administer a reservation, provide arrival or guest information, and respond to requests made during or after a stay.

WhatsApp and other third-party communications services operate under their own privacy policies. Please use a different communication method if you do not wish to communicate through WhatsApp.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share limited information when reasonably necessary with authorized members of the Sunset Terraces team; our local property manager or guest-support team; Wix and other website-service providers; communication providers; a booking, payment, accounting, or property-management provider used to administer a confirmed reservation; professional advisers; authorities when disclosure is legally required; or a successor if the operation or ownership of Sunset Terraces is transferred.

Anyone assisting us with guest information should receive only the information reasonably needed to perform their role.

Sunset Terraces is located in Lebanon, and our guests may contact us from many countries. Wix and other service providers may process or store information in Lebanon, the United States, Israel, the European Union, or other countries in which they or their service providers operate.

An availability inquiry that does not become a reservation will ordinarily be retained for no longer than 24 months after our last communication, unless you ask us to delete it sooner, we reasonably need it to respond to an ongoing request, or a longer period is necessary for security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

If an inquiry becomes a reservation, relevant booking and transaction records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the stay and satisfy accounting, tax, insurance, contractual, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations.

When information is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The website may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate and secure the website, remember privacy and consent choices, maintain functionality, detect errors or misuse, and understand general website performance. At present, Sunset Terraces does not intentionally use submitted inquiry information for targeted advertising or place third-party advertising pixels on the website. The website and inquiry form are intended for adults arranging travel and accommodation. We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children.

A parent or responsible adult may provide limited information about a child when necessary to arrange suitable sleeping arrangements, a crib, a high chair, or another family-related request. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
