Harissa
Téléférique and Our Lady of Lebanon
Ride the Téléférique from Jounieh up the mountainside for sweeping views of the bay, or drive directly to Harissa. At the top, visit the Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, an important pilgrimage site welcoming visitors of many backgrounds. Check the cable car’s operating status before setting out.

Jeita Grotto
A remarkable limestone cave system with an upper gallery explored on foot and a lower cave normally visited by boat when conditions allow. Wear shoes with good grip and confirm which sections are open. Photography is not permitted inside the grotto; the image shown is a representative rendering.


Mountain of Divine Mercy
A Maronite shrine in Ghosta known for its 12-meter statue of Christ and its wide views across Jounieh Bay—a meaningful stop for prayer, reflection, or quiet time.

Yahchouch Waterfalls Hike
A forest-and-river hike leading toward waterfalls and natural pools. Water flow and trail conditions change with the season, so check local conditions and consider a knowledgeable guide.

Mountain Views at the Shouf Biosphere Reserve
A rewarding mountain outing with expansive views across the Shouf landscape. The reserve has multiple entrances and trails, so confirm the best starting point, route, weather, and current access before traveling.
